Product details
The 4 L calf colostrum pouch is a flexible pack that dairy farms use to portion and feed colostrum. A spout on the pouch works with a drain tube to deliver colostrum into the calf's oesophagus, so feeding spills less. The pouch body can be printed in colour, letting farms separate batches or groups by colour and carry their own logo and feeding notes.
The pouch is laminated from pure aluminium foil or metallized film with a heat-seal inner layer. The metal layer blocks light and oxygen, reducing loss of the active components in colostrum during storage, while the inner layer touches the milk and determines whether the edge seals and the spout weld stay tight. An outer frame holds the pouch in shape so it stays steady while feeding.
The series covers 1-10 L, with 4 L matching the volume commonly fed to a calf in one session or one day. Printing is available in 1-8 colours. Accessories are the drain tube and outer frame. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, and pouch size plus accessory length can be matched to the farm's feeding equipment.
