A medical foil pouch for coupling gel that starts from the 16 g single-dose measure and also spans a 1–50 g volume range, so several fill sizes can be scheduled on one pouch format. The body is a foil and metallized laminate with a spout, and gel is squeezed out for direct application, removing the tear-open and transfer steps — useful where a single dose has to be controlled during an examination.

The pouch is a spout-type flexible bag, formed by heat-sealing the laminate before the spout is fitted. Foil supplies light blocking and high barrier, while the metallized option keeps the pack opaque at a lower weight. The inner layer contacts the gel directly, so it must seal firmly and not delaminate while gel is pressed out.
