This foil zipper stand-up pouch is made for pet food in packs from 500 g to 5 kg, covering dry cat and dog food, treats and freeze-dried products. The zipper runs across the top so the pack can be resealed after each feeding, and the gusseted base lets a heavy pouch stand without support, which keeps the pack tidy in a pet owner's cupboard.
The film uses a foil barrier layer against moisture, oxygen and light, so the food stays crisp and aromatic through the shelf life, and an inner heat-seal layer that closes the pouch and is compatible with high-speed filling equipment. The structure is matched to the pack weight, with heavier grades where the pouch is lifted and handled repeatedly.
