Custom Foil Stand-up Pouch 1–5 L for Red Wine

This double stand-up pouch is built for wine and beverage packing. It uses a twin-gusset stand-up base and can be fitted with either a butterfly valve or a spout, so the filled bag stands on its own and turns into bag-in-box packaging once it is placed inside an outer carton. It suits red and white wine that is shipped by the case and poured over several sittings, as well as juices and drinking water that need to keep their flavour over a longer period.

The body is a PET+AL+PA+PE laminate. The outer PET layer gives stiffness and a good printing surface, the AL foil layer blocks light and oxygen, the PA layer adds puncture and flex resistance, and the inner PE layer handles heat sealing and contacts the liquid directly. Together the layers help limit the effect of light and oxygen on wine and juice flavour.

Standard volumes run from 1-5L, wall thickness is 15-25 silk, printing is available in 1-8 colours, and the MOQ is 10,000 pcs. Valve bore, spout position, dispensing method, bag dimensions and artwork can all be adapted to your filling line and outer carton, and a sample is normally approved before mass production.

Typical uses include juice, beverages, red-wine packaging, drinking-water packaging and coffee, plus liquid categories such as concentrates, syrups and sauces that are drawn off through a valve or a spout.

The pouches are made by Kody Packaging in Dongguan, Guangdong, with laminating, printing and bag-making carried out on the same site. Samples can be run first so you can check the valve, the volume and the feel of the film.
