The 2020 Packaging World (China Yiwu) Expo & Zhejiang Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Exhibition was originally scheduled for March 30 - April 1, 2020. The predecessor of the “2020 Packaging World (China Yiwu) Expo & Zhejiang Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Exhibition” was the “China Yiwu Commodities Fair Machinery Industry Exhibition”, founded in 2009. Under the correct leadership of governments and competent departments at all levels and with the strong support and joint efforts of all sectors of society, it has already accumulated big-data resources of more than 100,000 domestic and foreign merchants. Past editions have invited leaders of the National People's Congress, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and provincial-level leaders, as well as responsible comrades of the national light industry associations and the Federation of Machinery Industry, and leaders and guests of local party and government organs to come and give guidance.
Scale of the exhibition held in April 2019 at the Yiwu International Expo Center: more than 1,000 standard booths were set up, with more than 600 exhibiting enterprises, an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, and 60,000 visits from various merchants, including more than 10,000 overseas merchants, achieving a total transaction value of 665 million yuan, of which 482 million yuan was domestic trade and 183 million yuan was foreign trade, all showing significant growth compared with the same period of the previous year.
As the impact of the pandemic is gradually eliminated, the blazing
month will surely usher in a national and even global “golden period of trade” and the vitality and energy of a rapid recovery in the packaging and printing industry market.
In the exhibition will present an entirely new zone layout, with clearer exhibit classification, focusing on displaying the products and technologies of four major industry chains leading the world and China: the packaging industry, the printing industry, corrugated equipment and label technology. It is a high-quality platform integrating trends, exchange and trade functions and providing industry merchants with one-stop supply-demand matchmaking for developing markets at home and abroad and finding agents, distributors, traders and end customers.
The online exhibition is ready to go:
The 2020 Packaging World (China Yiwu) Online Expo is also being intensively planned and prepared. Through the Internet Plus form, it will achieve a platform and operating model that merges online and offline exhibitions, and will provide the vast number of exhibiting enterprises with round-the-clock, all-round and multi-angle publicity and application promotion.
At the same time, the conference organizing committee will also regularly open tightly coupled supply-demand matchmaking meetings between manufacturers and user merchants on the online platform. Through new business operating models such as video and voice dialogue, it will precisely match customers for exhibiting enterprises and break through the various trade barriers brought about by the pandemic, opening up to all exhibitors, merchants and visitors at home and abroad the five core functions of online guided tours, online exhibitions, content promotion, user interaction and big data analysis.
