The 2020 International Logistics Technology and Transportation Systems Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CeMAT ASIA) concluded successfully on November 6 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This year's exhibition welcomed nearly 2,000 exhibitors, presenting the innovation achievements of post-pandemic intelligent manufacturing across an exhibition area of 190,000 square meters. The "AGV Theme Day" launched at this year's exhibition won widespread attention in the industry. AGV mobile robot giants including Hikvision, Geek+, Quicktron, SIASUN, Mushiny, Guozi, Huarui, Muyi, Mirui, Jiuyao, Aijiwei, Jingyuan, Libiao, BYD, Jiazhi, Yufeng, Future Robots, Malu Innovation, Aijiwei, Binton, Lingdong, Noli Intelligent, Jiashun, Stäubli and Bosch Rexroth all attended. More than 20 forum activities themed on smart logistics robots were also held in a concentrated manner on the theme day, jointly creating a carnival for the AGV robot industry.

It is worth mentioning that the Innovation Salon, a flagship program of CeMAT ASIA created by the organizer in cooperation with Germany's Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, the Shanghai-Amazon AWS Innovation Center, China Storage & Transport magazine, Logistics & Material Handling magazine and the Automotive Logistics Branch of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, brought more than 30 high-quality speeches covering intelligent manufacturing, smart logistics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and supply chain planning trends in vertical industries such as fresh food, footwear and apparel, and automotive and parts in the post-pandemic era.

Meanwhile, more than 30 events of various sizes complemented the Innovation Salon: the China Material Handling Equipment Industry Development Research Report (2018-2019), compiled under the organization of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, was officially released at the exhibition, and the Logistics Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society held 5 industry summit forums during the same period; a special seminar held by the Shanghai Robotics Industry Technology Research Institute gave a boost to the development and improvement of China's mobile robot industry standards; and the China University Student Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition - the 2020 Intelligent Manufacturing Competition, held on site at CeMAT ASIA for ** consecutive years, also caught the attention of the whole audience...

After its upgrade*, the International All-Asia Cold Chain Technology and Distribution Exhibition (ICCE ASIA) attracted companies including Hangcha, JD Cold Chain, Foton Aoling, Hongyu, SAIC Hongyan, Geely Farizon, Aumark, CIMC, Qingling, Quansu, Yinchuang and Prolog. The concurrent forum, themed "Intelligence Empowering Cold Chain Fresh Logistics", featured keynote speeches by Dematic, JD Logistics, Freshippo, Delide Logistics, CP Group, Jungheinrich, Quicktron and other companies. On November 4, the China Aoling Smart Cold Chain Solution Launch Conference and the founding ceremony of the Polar Bear Smart Cold Chain Alliance were also successfully held at the exhibition site, bringing together major refrigerated truck players with a combined market share of more than 60% and holding a centralized strategic signing ceremony.

In addition, as the China edition of the Italian international packaging exhibition, the International E-commerce Packaging Technology Exhibition (E-PACK TECH), dedicated to e-commerce packaging, welcomed exhibitors including the Pallet Committee of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, Shanghai Yixiang, Sipide and Xinchuang. The two Italian partners MECS and Netcomm sent demonstration videos that were played in the on-site forum area.
