Fighting high temperatures, ensuring progress, promoting commissioning. Recently, the annual-production-8,000-ton degradable plant-fiber eco-friendly tableware project located in the Hardware Industrial Park of Qiantan Town, Jiande City, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, has been advancing in an orderly manner and is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of November this year.
Recently, the reporter walked into the project construction site and saw that the main steel structure of one factory building had been completed, and construction scaffolding had been installed on the exterior of the other two factory buildings; construction workers were busy at their respective posts, and the roar of machinery rose and fell on the site, with the project construction advancing steadily and rapidly.
It is understood that the project covers 25 mu and involves a total investment of 124.65 million yuan; it builds a new plant for degradable plant-fiber new materials and purchases one plant-fiber decomposition system and 40 sets of product molding equipment. The project started construction in February this year; at present Building No. 1 is basically completed, Buildings No. 2 and No. 3 are under construction and are expected to be roofed by the end of September, and the first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of November. After the project is completed, it will provide more than 80 jobs and introduce highly educated and highly skilled talent to form an R&D team. The completion of the project can optimize Qiantan's industrial structure and stimulate the vitality of Qiantan's economic development.
In recent years, with the implementation of the national plastics restriction order, the rise of the low-carbon economy and the improvement of residents' environmental awareness, the market for degradable eco-friendly tableware has emerged. As an emerging industry, the degradable eco-friendly industry is a new blue ocean in the domestic market, and the degradable plant-fiber eco-friendly tableware project has great market potential and good development prospects. Yu Wendong, head of Hangzhou Tonglibo Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., said that the project's designed capacity is 8,000 tons of degradable plant-fiber eco-friendly tableware, with a target capacity of more than 10,000 tons; the designed output value is 200 million yuan, and the target output value is expected to exceed 250 million yuan.
The enterprise head is full of confidence in the project's prospects and said the company will deeply embed the concept of environmental protection, adhere to environmental protection first, and strive to be a "green giant" in the industry. Later, the company will also increase investment in R&D teams and production equipment, so that the environmental-protection concept of degradable, renewable, recyclable and compostable truly takes root. Reduce global white pollution, protect the natural ecological environment, and let enterprise development walk together with green mountains and clear waters.
It is worth mentioning that government support is one of the indispensable key elements promoting the project's implementation. Qiantan Town has strong investment promotion efforts, high-value policy support, a high degree of policy coordination and a high level of attention to enterprises; from early-stage project approval to project implementation and construction, it actively plays the role of a "shop assistant" to escort the project's early completion and commissioning.
