Results of the 2026 Shanghai Supervisory Spot Check on Packaging Reduction (Excessive Packaging) of Egg Products

In 2026, the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation conducted a supervisory spot check on excessive packaging of egg products in the city. A total of 20 batches of products were sampled, and after testing, 3 batches were found non-compliant.

This supervisory spot check was conducted in accordance with GB 23350-2021 "Requirements for restricting excessive packaging of goods — Food and cosmetics" and other standard requirements, and the following items were tested: packaging void ratio and packaging layers.
