IPO Cleared, Six-Month Wait Ends in Listing — Packaging and Printing Sector Adds Another Public Company
On June 1, 2021, the SSE disclosed:
The China Securities Regulatory Commission has approved and agreed to the registration of the initial public offering of Hangzhou Honghua Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
After half a year of waiting, this enterprise finally obtained a CSRC license and at last achieved its goal.
On November 25, 2020, the STAR Market IPO of Hangzhou Honghua Digital Technology Co., Ltd. was reviewed and approved by the listing committee meeting,
and thereafter, after a long half-year wait, it finally obtained CSRC approval. It is reported that Honghua Digital has been deeply engaged in the field of digital inkjet printing for 28 years, and the main models developed by the company based on its core technology have reached internationally competitive levels in terms of performance indicators and comprehensive competitiveness.
For enterprises queuing for IPO review, 2021 has been extremely difficult. With not yet half of 2021 gone, the number of IPO terminations had already exceeded that of the whole of last year.
As of May 22, 2021, a total of 119 enterprises had terminated IPOs, of which 112 withdrew voluntarily, far exceeding the total number of IPO terminations in the whole of 2020.
In the whole of 2020, a total of 82 enterprises terminated review. The CSRC said that enterprises that "run the gate while sick" will be dealt with seriously, and it will never allow them to simply withdraw and walk away.
In 2021, enterprises queuing for IPO face many setbacks. On January 28, the first offering of Guangzhou Jiuheng Barcode Co., Ltd. ("Jiuheng Barcode") was not approved. And on January 19, 2021, Hongming Intelligent's IPO was affected by a major change concerning RMB 60 million in mask machine payment with Huaxing Medical, forcing the company to announce termination of review the day before running the gate. It is worth noting that Yuto Technology is also one of Hongming Intelligent's major customers and shareholders.
However, the successful listing of a printing enterprise in Dongguan ended the packaging and printing sector's run of bad luck.
On March 22, Dongguan Chutian Long listed successfully on the SME board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming Dongguan's 62nd listed enterprise and the 5th local Dongguan printing enterprise listed domestically. The company's prospectus shows that Chutian Long possesses advanced smart card production lines, technical processes and automated production procedures. In 2019, the company shipped 357.49 million smart card products, ranking among the industry's leaders.
On June 1, Hangzhou Honghua Digital Technology Co., Ltd. also finally obtained approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission, agreeing to the registration of the enterprise's initial public offering. Since then, all the packaging and printing enterprises that successfully passed review in 2020 have been successfully listed.
According to incomplete statistics, a total of seven enterprises in the packaging and printing sector successfully passed review in 2020: Longlide Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., listed on ChiNext on September 10; Guangdong Tianyuan Industrial Group Co., Ltd., listed on the SME board on September 21; Senlin Packaging, which passed review on October 29; Jinfu Technology Co., Ltd., listed on the SME board on November 6; Hangzhou Honghua Digital Technology Co., Ltd., which passed review on November 25; Hanghua Ink Co., Ltd., listed on December 11; and Shanghai Ailuo Co., Ltd., which passed review on December 23.
In 2021, packaging and printing enterprises are not absent from the ranks queuing for IPO review either. A number of printing enterprises, including Houwei Packaging Technology, Huilin Packaging, Guangdong Gaoyi, Zhejiang Guangyuan, Zhongshan Zhongrong, Fujian Nanwang, Shandong Xinjufeng, Zhongrong Printing Group, Beijing Rongda Technology and Hubei Hongyu New Packaging Materials, were selected for the list of reserve enterprises for listing.
We hope these industry leaders realize their dreams of listing soon.
