The 10kg puncture-resistant vacuum pouch for nuts is a bag format developed specifically for large-format nut packaging. A 10kg fill means the pouch must withstand greater content weight and compression stress during filling, vacuuming, stacking and transport, while nut shells, sharp corners and edges can easily pierce the film during handling. The structure is therefore designed around puncture resistance, which distinguishes it from standard vacuum pouches of the same size and application.
For materials and structure, common laminates can be selected according to requirements: PET/AL/PE, PET/NY/PE, PET/VMPET/PE, PET/PE, PA/PE, PET/AL/NY/PE, kraft paper/PE and PET/VMPET/NY/PE. Structures containing NY (nylon) or PA layers — such as PET/NY/PE, PA/PE, PET/AL/NY/PE and PET/VMPET/NY/PE — improve tear and puncture performance and suit in-shell nuts, while structures with AL or VMPET layers are used for nut categories requiring light and oxygen barrier. Total multilayer thickness is controlled at 15–25 silk, determined jointly by bag dimensions, fill weight and content characteristics.
Production follows the process of gravure printing → lamination → slitting → bag making → heat sealing. Printing supports 1–8 colour gravure printing for brand key visuals, product information and usage instructions. Bag making and heat sealing are carried out in a Class 10000 cleanroom, using food-grade materials, with material certificates available upon customer request. Seal width, bag style (such as flat bottom, three-side seal or stand-up pouches, customized to customer requirements) and seal strength can be adjusted for the stress profile of a 10kg fill.
For customization, sampling from customer samples or artwork is supported, with dimensions and print layout customized to customer requirements, progressing from artwork proofing and sample confirmation to mass production. MOQ is 10,000 pcs, produced in Dongguan, Guangdong. During sampling we recommend filling with the actual nuts and running vacuum, drop and stacking verification to confirm whether the chosen laminate and 15–25 silk thickness match the puncture-resistance needs of the specific nut category.
