SIAL China2020 attracted more and more Chinese exhibitors.

Food and Beverage Utensils and Food Processing and Packaging Equipment Hall - as a brand-new pavilion launched by SIAL. The "2020 International Food and Beverage Packaging Exhibition" (abbreviated as "FDP"), based on the rapidly changing development of the catering market, brings well-known brands and manufacturers in the field of catering packaging design into the exhibition, in order to better enhance and help catering production enterprises improve efficiency and product image, and to let more investors and catering business owners establish their own brands better and faster.

Authoritative data show that from 2017 to 2019, China's catering industry revenue reached 4.3 trillion yuan, second only to the United States in scale. It is expected that the full-year growth rate of the catering industry in 2020 will remain at around 8%. Meanwhile, a 2017-2019 China consumer survey report shows that 35% of surveyed consumers have gradually shifted their awareness of food and beverage* products from quality awareness in the past to packaging awareness; in 2015 this figure was only 12%. The "high attractiveness" of products will become the main theme of the future development of catering enterprises.

With consumption upgrading, for many consumers, in addition to focusing on the quality of the product itself, the exquisite, practical and convenient packaging of products has become a new focus of mainstream consumer groups; product manufacturers have to pay attention to their own unique personality and style in order to win more consumers' favor. A brand-new visual experience for consumers will become the main focus of the future food and beverage industry.
