Review and Outlook of Cangnan's Special Rectification Campaign in the Printing Industry

Published:2021-04-16 · Industry News

[ppzhan Abstract] As the year-end approaches, governments in many places have begun special rectification work in the printing industry. Wenzhou, a strong packaging printing city, is among them, and Cangnan County is taking a multi-pronged approach to crack down hard on illegal printing and production activities.

Recently, Cangnan County's printing industry rectification work will aim to establish a long-term management mechanism, combining inspection with supervision, treating both symptoms and root causes, and cracking down on counterfeits while supporting good enterprises, taking a multi-pronged approach to effectively curb and crack down hard on all kinds of illegal printing and production activities and earnestly safeguard the market economic order of the printing industry. Deputy County Head Lin Xiaotong attended the meeting. Last year, our county focused on strengthening routine supervision of the printing market and actively carried out special rectification campaigns, cracking down hard on all kinds of illegal business practices in the printing industry. Over the year, a total of 378 illegal printing cases of various kinds were investigated and handled, down 16% year on year; more than 150 counterfeit-making dens were destroyed, down 25%; and 8 sales (wholesale) criminal gangs were broken up, down 50%, with the incidence of illegal and criminal activities showing a steady downward trend.

It is reported that the rectification of the printing industry in our county involves a wide scope and a large workload, is highly difficult, and carries heavy tasks in addressing both symptoms and root causes. This year our county will further intensify the rectification of the printing industry, persisting in taking multiple measures, innovating methods, highlighting key points, cooperating closely and imposing strict punishments. Strengthened routine supervision and dragnet-style joint law enforcement actions must be combined with reliance on intelligence networks, extensively mobilizing the power of the masses, broadening information channels and improving detection methods, so as to effectively enhance the effectiveness and timeliness of the special rectification of the printing industry. Patrol and follow-up supervision of key townships and villages, key locations and key enterprises must be strengthened; counterfeit-making dens must be dealt a devastating blow; a number of illegal enterprises engaged in counterfeiting must be resolutely banned; and a number of lawbreakers engaged in counterfeiting must be severely punished.

Close coordination among departments and townships must be strengthened so as to truly form a good situation in which 'each fulfills its own responsibility, each performs its own duties, and all work together in joint management', jointly doing a good job in the rectification work. We must persist in using an iron fist to combat counterfeiting: whenever counterfeiting is found, those that should be closed must be closed, those that should be reorganized must be reorganized, and those that should be sentenced must be sentenced - never soft, never indulgent.
