In the second quarter, Gaoming District concentrated the commencement of 14 major projects, including the Gaohe Wharf project in the Gaoming Port Area of Foshan Port, with total investment of about RMB 4.92 billion and planned annual investment of RMB 1.007 billion.

By field, Gaoming concentrated the commencement of 7 industrial projects in the second quarter, with total investment of RMB 1.601 billion and planned annual investment of RMB 555 million; 6 infrastructure projects, with total investment of about RMB 3.192 billion and planned annual investment of RMB 372 million; and 1 livelihood project, with total investment of about RMB 124 million and planned annual investment of RMB 80 million.

The industrial projects include the Lihe project with annual output of 100,000 tons of stainless steel products with total investment of RMB 500 million, the Ruipeng Materials industrial resin products manufacturing project with total investment of RMB 180 million, the Yatai Copper copper alloy production and manufacturing project with total investment of RMB 120 million, and the Hanrun Zhiguang Technology lighting fixtures and accessories manufacturing project with total investment of RMB 300 million,

the Dongda Packaging corrugated carton production and manufacturing project with total investment of RMB 250 million

, and the Zhenneng auto parts production and manufacturing project with total investment of RMB 100 million.

At the site of the Huaxing Glass green and intelligent glass bottle and mold manufacturing project, a project that began construction in concentrated fashion in the first quarter of this year, machinery has now entered the site and pile foundation construction is under way. With the support of this expansion project, the Foshan Gaoming Branch of Huaxing Glass Co., Ltd. will reach an annual capacity of 950,000 tons, becoming the world's single largest production base for daily-use glass bottles and jars.

Since the beginning of this year, the overall construction of the major projects begun in concentrated fashion, including the Huaxing Glass green and intelligent glass bottle and mold manufacturing project in Gaoming District, has progressed smoothly. Data show that in 2021 Gaoming planned and implemented 108 key projects; as of May, 43.95% of the annual investment task had been completed, and of 93 formal projects, 87 had started construction, a start rate of 93.55%.

Among them, 29 provincial key projects completed investment of RMB 3.426 billion, accounting for 44.18% of the annual investment task, becoming the main force driving the growth of investment progress. At present, the data center of the Runze International Information Port project (Phase I) is carrying out base slab pouring;

the Phase I factory building of the Meiyingsen Smart Packaging Industrial Project has been completed, and equipment is being installed and trial production is under way;

and the Guangdong Datang International Cogeneration project has completed the base pouring for gas turbine islands Nos. 1 and 2 and the hoisting of the waste heat boiler steel frame.
