Betting on Local Market Opportunities, Hongji Packaging Launches Packaging Box Production Project
July is the golden period for engineering project construction. The workers of Suifenhe Hongji Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. are also seizing the opportunity for project construction, racing against the schedule and pushing progress, sweating profusely at the project site.
Suifenhe Hongji Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the Border Cooperation Zone. Its packaging box production project covers an area of about 8,520 ㎡. The project's main products include expandable polystyrene foam boxes, cartons and other packaging materials, and it plans to produce 500,000 sets of foam boxes and a number of cartons annually, with an output value of RMB 10 million.
A chance trip led Li Hongwen from Hebei to form an indissoluble bond with Suifenhe, a century-old port. "The various preferential support policies for investing and starting a business here are excellent, and most importantly, the summer is really so cool!" Li Hongwen set his sights on Suifenhe's development opportunities and, after hastily ending his trip, moved to Suifenhe. At first he did engineering work in Suifenhe; in recent years, with the rise of the Russian-goods market and the development of cold-chain logistics, Li Hongwen again sensed an opportunity. "As the largest distribution center for Russian goods, Suifenhe sees packaging boxes become a necessity for merchants sending express parcels, with broad market prospects." So he decided to invest in and build a packaging box production project in the Border Cooperation Zone to meet the needs of more local Suifenhe users.
Li Hongwen, Manager of Hongji Packaging Materials Co., Ltd., introduced that the project is currently undergoing internal renovation of the office building, with 70% of the total works completed; next, road surfaces in the plant area and the installation of fire-fighting facilities will be carried out, and the project as a whole is expected to be completed by the end of September.
