The reporter learned from Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication that the Beijing Innovation Demonstration Park for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Printing Industry has opened. It will achieve an industry chain that integrates production, education and research and covers editing, printing and distribution, build an ecosystem in which the main business and related factors such as materials, equipment, logistics and consulting are fully matched and mutually nourishing, and drive N printing management and service entities outside Beijing that provide coordinated support for the capital's core functions, achieving the goal of promoting manufacturing transformation in the digital economy era.
According to the introduction, the "Beijing Innovation Demonstration Park for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Printing Industry" is a jointly built demonstration park under the guidance of the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, led by the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, implemented specifically by Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, and actively participated in by the Beijing Printing Association.
The demonstration park is built on the basic framework of "1+1+1+N": an industry chain that integrates production, education and research and covers editing, printing and distribution; an ecosystem in which the main business and related factors such as materials, equipment, logistics and consulting are fully matched and mutually nourishing; one public service platform that connects publishing and editing, print enterprise headquarters and off-site workshops, providing remote proof correction, colour adjustment and proofing services; and N printing management and service entities that coordinate production workshops distributed across Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and other regions and drive production capacity outside Beijing to provide coordinated support for the capital's core functions.
At the same time, it will focus on building the "four-dimensional centre" that focuses on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and radiates to the national printing industry: a publication printing prepress adaptation centre, a production-education-research collaborative innovation centre, a whole-industry-chain testing and inspection centre, and a talent practice and improvement centre, achieving the goal of promoting manufacturing transformation in the digital economy era.
Ding Mei, second-level inspector of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, said in her speech that the Beijing Innovation Demonstration Park for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Printing Industry is an important practice based on the capital's strategic positioning as a city and advancing the building of a pioneering zone for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei printing industry. It is of great significance for implementing pilot innovation policies, tackling key difficulties in the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei printing industry, and exploring and building a new coordinated development pattern of "Beijing creative R&D services + Tianjin-Hebei production and manufacturing." In the next step, we must seize the opportunity of Beijing's "two zones" construction and strive during the 14th Five-Year Plan period to build the demonstration park into a national-level demonstration base that closely serves the capital's core functions, with distinctive coordinated development features, leading innovation and R&D capabilities, outstanding radiating and driving effects, deep integration of production, education and research, and balanced development of social and economic benefits.
Liu Chang'an, member of the Education Working Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and deputy director of the Municipal Education Commission, said that the Beijing Innovation Demonstration Park for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Printing Industry is an important measure to solidly advance the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei; it is a case of universities giving play to the radiating and driving role of quality educational resources and promoting deep integration of university educational resources with the economic and social development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region; it is a vivid practice of innovation and entrepreneurship work and practical reform, closely combining university scientific, educational and intellectual resources with the market's advantageous innovation resources, opening up new ideas for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship work in higher education institutions; and it is a new model of industry-education integration development, promoting all-round integration of the structural elements of the talent supply side and the industry demand side, and making a tangible contribution to the cultivation of interdisciplinary applied talent in the printing and publishing field.
Han Xinxing, deputy head of Beijing's Daxing District, introduced the district's broad development prospects and high-quality business environment from multiple dimensions. The park will optimize engineering design, focus on advantageous resources, and help build a new pattern of coordinated development for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei printing industry.
Gao Jinhong, Party secretary of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, said that to promote the construction of the demonstration park with high quality, the institute will fully support the park's construction work, steadily advance the implementation of all tasks, further give play to its advantages, vigorously promote deep integration of production, education and research, further promote innovation, and pioneer trials to build a development highland.
Yuan Yuxia, dean of the Beijing Green Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Research Institute, said that the demonstration park is based on the "Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication Science and Technology Park," with the Beijing Green Printing and Packaging Industry Technology Research Institute as its operating carrier, and has multiple innovation and entrepreneurship brands such as the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication University Science and Technology Park, the Cultural and Creative Industry Park, the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication Rongchuang Incubator, and the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park; the park gathers more than 60 enterprises in creative design, scientific and technological R&D, press and publication communication, and scientific and technological services, forming a refined and excellent publishing and media industry ecosystem around the entire press and publication industry chain, and also has a professional service team and platforms for scientific and technological innovation R&D and product inspection and testing services.
