Industry Standard for Shaftless High-Speed Gravure Printing Presses to Be Implemented in Guangdong Next Month
[ppzhan summary] Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards, and for the economic development of an industry, industry standards play an even greater role. Recently, the Guangdong provincial local standard Shaftless High-speed Gravure Printing Machine, drafted by Guangdong, was approved and issued by Guangdong Province on August 24, 2013, with the standard number DB44/T1175-2013. It is reported that the standard will be implemented throughout the province from November 24, 2013.
The Guangdong provincial local standard Shaftless High-speed Gravure Printing Machine, drafted by the Guangdong Province Film and Paper Printing Industry Association, Guangdong Shanzhang Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd., Chaozhou Caida Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Yuexiu District Yanren Machinery Technology Research Center, was approved and issued by Guangdong Province on August 24, 2013, with the standard number DB44/T1175-2013. It is reported that the standard will be implemented throughout the province from November 24, 2013.
A gravure printing machine is a piece of technical equipment in which the printing pattern is made directly on the plate cylinder, ink is supplied by dipping or by transfer from an ink transfer roller, and text and images are printed; it consists of 6 main structures: unwinding, infeed, printing, drying, outfeed and rewinding. It is composed of unwinding, infeed, printing, drying, cooling, outfeed, rewinding, as well as registration, image inspection and tension microcomputer control systems and other parts. The so-called shaftless design means that in a gravure printing machine each color unit is equipped with its own set of servo motors, the respective servo drives are centrally controlled through a central control system, and the servo drives then control the servo motors of each gravure printing unit, ensuring that the color units of the entire gravure printing machine run accurately in synchronization.
The high speed defined in the provincial local standard DB44/T1175-2013 Shaftless High-speed Gravure Printing Machine is a speed of not less than 250 meters per minute when printing web-fed plastic film, aluminum foil and other substrates. The technology of this standard is administered by the Guangdong Provincial Technical Committee for Standardization of Film Printing Equipment GD/TC64.
Over the past twenty to thirty years, high-speed gravure printing machines developed by Chinese enterprises have been used to print film bags, paper boxes and other products with exquisite printing results; in supporting industries such as food, daily necessities and computers that require film bag and paper box packaging, film bags and paper boxes play a supporting role in the protection, beautification, storage, transportation, sales and use of the products inside. Under the guidance of the province, the Guangdong Province Film and Paper Printing Industry Association, Guangdong Shanzhang Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd., Chaozhou Caida Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Yuexiu District Yanren Machinery Technology Research Center actively participated in the formulation of this local standard for gravure printing machines, playing a guiding role through technical specifications for the technical and management norms of the equipment, promoting technological progress and raising quality levels.
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements (including the working environment, service performance, assembly precision, microcomputer control system, quality of main parts and components, overall machine operating quality, mechanical safety, electrical safety and appearance quality of the gravure printing machine), test methods, inspection rules, marking, labels, instruction manuals, packaging, transportation and storage of the shaftless high-speed gravure printing machine. This standard applies to shaftless high-speed gravure printing machines (hereinafter referred to as gravure printing machines) for printing various film materials such as web-fed plastic film and aluminum foil (including 40g/m2-90g/m2 web paper) and paper; gravure printing machines with similar functions, such as mechanically shaft-driven gravure printing machines, may refer to it for use.
