Green Printing-Compliant Enterprises Said to Deserve More National Preferential Policies
In recent years, "green" has become an issue of growing concern for printing companies, and the 12th Five-Year Plan has elevated green printing to a new level. As people gradually turn their attention to environmental and social issues, enterprises must take greater account of logistics cost factors related to climate change, air pollution, energy conservation and emissions reduction, so as to balance corporate, environmental and social objectives.
Printing companies that meet the green printing standards should enjoy more preferential state policies, including funding support, business support, and tax and fee reductions, so that they will voluntarily devote themselves to the cause of green printing and ensure its healthy development.
In the safeguard measures of the 12th Five-Year Plan for the printing industry, it is emphasized: "Formulate and improve green printing standards, carry out green printing certification, and implement the 'Green and Environmentally Friendly Printing System Construction Project'. With primary and secondary school textbooks, government procurement products and food and drug packaging as the focus, actively coordinate with environmental protection, education and other relevant administrative departments to conduct multi-level and multi-faceted cooperation, and vigorously promote the implementation of green printing. Promote packaging and decorative printing toward reduction, reuse, recycling and degradability (3R 1D). Guide the development of 'Green and Environmentally Friendly Printing Demonstration Zones', promote the research and development of low-energy-consumption green printing equipment and materials, and improve the mechanism for eliminating and phasing out low-end and backward production capacity."
