15 Printing and Packaging Projects Signed in Centralized Ceremony, Total Investment Reaching 5.5 Billion Yuan

Breaking news! On April 25, 2021, Dazhengbei Green Intelligent Science and Technology Park held a centralized signing ceremony for key industrial projects, with 15 well-known enterprises from the printing and packaging field across the country gathering in the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone of Xinxiang City,

with 15 projects signed that day, involving a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan, making it the largest centralized signing event in the printing and packaging field in Henan Province.

According to the Commerce Bureau of the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone, Dazhengbei Green Intelligent Science and Technology Park is an industrial park built with great effort by the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone of Xinxiang City, planned to cover about 450 mu, and comprising six themed functional zones including a production and processing zone, a creative culture zone, and an achievement incubation zone.

The park is positioned as "a new cluster of green leaders and a new high ground for intelligent manufacturing," with "innovation, intelligence, green, and integration" as its design philosophy. Through the clustering of upstream and downstream industries related to the printing and packaging industry, it aims to build a sustainable printing full-industry-chain system and drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional printing toward intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing. After the park officially begins operation, it will achieve annual sales revenue of more than 10 billion yuan and more than 800 million yuan in new profits and taxes.

The 15 printing and packaging projects signed this time involve a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan,

including major projects such as the Longlide (Henan) Green Intelligent Cultural Science and Technology Innovation Park project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the Henan Yinghui Packaging Group premium packaging production base project with a total investment of 500 million yuan, and the Henan Tianrun Packaging intelligent manufacturing production line project with a total investment of 200 million yuan.

Driving the vigorous development of the local printing and packaging industry

Attending the signing ceremony were Zhou Yong, Vice Chairman of the Xinxiang Municipal CPPCC and Director of the Municipal Commerce Bureau; Wang Haiming, Secretary-General of the East China Chamber of Commerce of the China Paper and Paper Packaging Alliance; Sheng Shengli, General Manager of the Corporate Department of Bank of Beijing Shanghai Branch; Li Xiangru, Vice President and Executive President of the Henan Packaging Technology Association; Wang Pengye, Deputy Secretary-General of the Henan Packaging Technology Association; representatives of the signing enterprises; and demonstration zone leaders Wang Chaojie, Wang Jingshu, Wang Changhui, Wang Jianhua, and others.

Zhou Yong, Vice Chairman of the Xinxiang Municipal CPPCC and Director of the Municipal Commerce Bureau, said in his speech that the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone has a solid development foundation, a resolute development pace, broad development prospects, and distinct development advantages, and is becoming a focus of attention for investors from all sectors of society; the concentration of a number of leading enterprises in the printing and packaging field could not have come at a better time. The city and district levels should genuinely serve enterprises as "matchmaker," "security guard," and "nanny,"

push for the projects to start construction early and go into production and achieve results early, so that enterprises can invest with confidence, operate with peace of mind, and live comfortably.

According to the author's understanding, the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone was established in 2010 and renamed in 2013. It currently administers 6 townships (offices), covers an area of about 400 square kilometers, and has a total population of about 300,000. In 2017, the Implementation Plan for Building the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration in Henan Province identified the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone, together with Gongyi, Xinzheng, Xingyang, and Changge, as a new growth center of the Zhengzhou metropolitan area, to be built as a medium-sized city with a population of 500,000-1,000,000.

The centralized signing of these 15 printing and packaging projects in Dazhengbei Green Intelligent Science and Technology Park will help supplement and improve the industrial chain of the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone, drive the local printing and packaging industry to a new level, and play an important role in promoting local economic development.
