Total Output Value Set to Double to 150 Million Yuan as Pengyuxiang Packaging Exudes Confidence

Shandong Zibo Pengyuxiang Packaging and Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pengyuxiang") was founded in 2003. It features medical packaging products such as mask boxes and glove boxes, and also serves local distinctive industries such as garments and ceramics.

Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought impacts of varying degrees to many printing companies, but Pengyuxiang, thanks to its unique product positioning, has achieved extraordinary development.

Hou Peng, chairman of Pengyuxiang, and general manager Hou Jinyu (Hou Peng's son) studied in the UK and Germany respectively, and returned to work at the factory in 2019 after returning from Germany. Soon afterwards, he was entrusted by his father with the important task of general manager.

However, Hou Jinyu's return was indeed somewhat different.

When he decided to return to work at the factory, he unexpectedly met with his father's opposition. His father felt that printing was too hard work and would rather he stayed abroad to work. Later, through his mother's persuasion, his father agreed to let him return to take over the business.

As Hou Jinyu took up his post, Hou Peng added another Heidelberg Speedmaster CD102 eight-color plus coater UV offset press built in Qingpu for Pengyuxiang in November 2020.

It must be said that such investment courage in the post-pandemic era comes partly from Hou Peng's discovery that the medical packaging market has huge potential and bright prospects; on the other hand, Hou Jinyu's determination to inherit the family business was also an important factor in Hou Peng's decision.

Father and son working together to create the future is a great encouragement and comfort to Hou Peng, who is still working tirelessly for the printing business. Therefore, when talking about this year's small goal - growing the company's total output value from last year's 60-70 million yuan to 150 million yuan - he is naturally full of confidence!

At present, while participating in company management, Hou Jinyu is also studying at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of industry market and technology trends.

He also already has his own ideas about the company's future development.

He hopes to give full play to Pengyuxiang's advanced technological advantages in printing equipment and color management, and to take the medical packaging business to the extreme. At the same time, he plans to use the Speedmaster CD102-8+L and Multicolor spot color replacement solutions to explore more in the field of UV printing.

"Second-generation printers" like Hou Jinyu, who have already begun to step onto the stage of their companies and the industry, will one day lead their companies to new heights and become the mainstay of the industry's development in the new era! Let us wait and see!
