Guangde Culture and Tourism Bureau Conducts Special Inspection of Printing Enterprises

Published:2021-10-25 · Industry News

To effectively regulate the business activities of printing enterprises and implement the work deployment requirements of the "eliminating pornography and illegal publications" campaign, on October 21 the Guangde Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau organized comprehensive law enforcement personnel of the cultural market to carry out a special inspection action on printing enterprises.

A total of 5 printing enterprises were spot-checked in this inspection. During the inspection, law enforcement personnel went deep into the front line of production workshops, carefully checking whether there were illegal printed items on site and whether defective printed products were handled in a compliant manner; they also went to the offices to verify the implementation of the "five systems"—printing verification, printing registration, storage of printed matter, delivery of printed matter, and destruction of defective products from printing activities—reviewing the registration forms one by one. Law enforcement personnel required each printing enterprise to strictly implement the "five systems" and operate in a regulated and law-abiding manner, and gave detailed guidance on cases where printing registration was non-standard and staff were unfamiliar with the business.

On the same day, law enforcement personnel also inspected the enterprises' epidemic prevention and control and work safety, requiring enterprises to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control requirements and strengthen safety supervision in all production links, and ordered enterprises to rectify immediately such problems as inadequate implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures and obstruction in front of fire-fighting facilities.

Next, the Guangde Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau will further strengthen law enforcement inspections of the printing industry, investigate and deal with illegal and non-compliant printing acts, put an end to all kinds of illegal printing activities, and regulate the industry's business order. At the same time, it will grasp routine epidemic prevention and control tightly, in detail and firmly, urge printing enterprises to fulfil their primary responsibility for work safety, and resolutely avoid the occurrence of work safety accidents.
