200+ Industry Leaders Debate New Paper Industry Trends as Paper Packaging Industry Chain Cooperation Conference Convenes Successfully

On July 13, the first China Paper Packaging Industry Chain Cooperation Conference, themed "Link Trust, Share New Growth," jointly hosted by the China Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the China Packaging Federation and Reed Exhibitions, and exclusively sponsored by China Paper Investment Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai. More than 200 enterprise representatives from the paper packaging industry chain were invited to attend, gathering together to discuss the development status and trends of the paper packaging industry in the new economic environment.

At the start of the meeting, Li Jianhua, Chairman of the Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Huatai Group, delivered a speech, while Wang Yuezhong, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Packaging Federation, and Huang Xin, Vice President of the Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of China Paper, each delivered opening keynote speeches.

Subsequently, around the topic of "Carbon Path Pioneers," Dr. Chu Yin, Professor at the University of International Relations and expert in economics and international relations; Han Wenke, Senior Advisor and former Director-General of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission and Researcher at the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research; Zeng Shaojun, Professional Vice President and Secretary-General of the China New Energy Chamber of Commerce; China Paper Investment Co., Ltd.; Zheng Xianjun, Chairman of International Jifeng; and Wang Hongtao, Professor at Sichuan University, brought everyone a wealth of solid content on carbon neutrality in the paper packaging industry from the dimensions of general trends, policy, paths, actions, cases and solutions respectively.

Next, the launch ceremony of the Zero-Carbon Action for the Entire Paper Packaging Industry Chain, the launch ceremony of the Carbon Accounting and Target Advancement Center, and the awarding ceremony for the first batch of demonstration enterprises were held in turn.

Subsequently, in the "Paper for Plastic" segment, Zhang Tao, Packaging Innovation Manager of Meituan Waimai's Social Responsibility Office; Jiang Ejun, Sales and Marketing Director of Stora Enso China Packaging; Xia Xiaohui, Director of Packaging Paper Business Development for UPM Specialty Papers Asia-Pacific; Luo Mingxiang, Marketing and Technology Director of Solenis; and Zhou Yongping, Asia-Pacific Business Manager of Covestro, shared on the themes of "Meituan Waimai Qingshan Plan — Practice in Advancing Green Food Delivery Packaging," "Pulp Molding — Walking the Path to Lead the Era," "Joining Hands Across the Entire Industry Chain to Broaden New Applications of 'Paper for Plastic'," "Technology Solutions and Policy Paths for Paper for Plastic in Europe and America," and "Development Direction of New Paper-Based Materials Under the New Policies of Plastic Ban and Plastic Reduction" respectively, bringing much inspiration to the attending guests.

That evening, "Dongjingyi.com Night — Appreciation Dinner of the First China Paper Packaging Industry Chain Cooperation Conference" was successfully held, bringing the meeting to a perfect close in a joyful atmosphere.
