Moutai Will Strive to Achieve the Target of a 24% In-Province Packaging Supporting Rate
Wang Jiaqiang, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said that this meeting brought together two industry associations, distilleries and supporting enterprises to hold a supply and demand matchmaking meeting, striving to achieve a 50% in-province supporting rate for baijiu across the province next year and targeting 80% in 2022.
Duan Jianhua, member of the Party Committee and General Counsel of Moutai Group, said in his speech that Moutai, as a pillar industry of Guizhou Province and the leading enterprise of Guizhou's baijiu industry, will, in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government and the requirements of the Action Plan for the Revitalization of Ten Hundred-Billion-Level Industries, actively promote the development of local packaging enterprises.
Duan Jianhua said that Moutai Group will make efforts on the supply side, continuously enhance its packaging supply capacity and level, vigorously advance the construction of packaging supporting project facilities in Guizhou Province, and strive to realize the goals of RMB 3.9 billion in in-province packaging procurement and a 24% supporting rate for Moutai Group as soon as possible, thereby promoting an increase in the proportion of baijiu packaging supporting across the province.
It is reported that most of the baijiu enterprises participating in this matchmaking meeting are key supported units in the baijiu sector of Guizhou Province's high-quality tobacco and liquor industry. At the meeting, key baijiu enterprises and packaging enterprises across the province signed as many as 15 cooperation agreements, helping Guizhou Province's packaging industry reach a new level with practical results.
