Kadant Successfully Signs Contract for Complete Recycled Fiber OCC Pulping System for Anhui Xinguang New Materials' 600,000-Ton Packaging Paper Project

Kadant successfully signed a contract with Anhui Xinguang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. for a complete recycled fiber OCC pulping system for its annual 600,000-ton anti-static carbon fiber functional composite paper project.

In July 2021, Kadant successfully signed a contract with Anhui Xinguang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. for a full set of recycled fiber OCC pulping system for its annual 600,000-ton packaging paper project, establishing a strategic cooperative partnership to build a high-end paper product packaging industry in East China, so as to adapt to the ever-growing market demand and make a positive contribution to the development of the pulp and paper industry. The designed capacity of the pulp line is as high as 1,600 tonnes/day.

The annual 600,000-ton anti-static carbon fiber functional composite paper project of Anhui Xinguang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is designed for two machines, PM3/PM5, right-hand and left-hand, producing 80-120 gsm linerboard and low-grammage corrugated paper. with stable product quality, more than 20% energy savings compared with traditional systems, and extremely low fiber loss. This phase of the project includes one 5600/1000m/min linerboard machine and one 5600/1000m/min corrugated paper machine, with advanced design and first-class quality.

Anhui Xinguang New Material Co., Ltd., formerly known as Anhui Xinguang Paper Co., Ltd., was established in July 2010. Located in Xuezhuang, Shengquan Town, Xiao County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province, it is mainly engaged in the production and sales of high-strength corrugated paper and the like. The company's original corrugated paper production line, with an annual output of 200,000 tonnes of high-strength corrugated paper, passed completion acceptance in 2013. After the completion of this annual 600,000-ton packaging paper project, it will certainly cause a huge impact on the base paper capacity of the East China market.
