Papermaking enterprises have always been polluting businesses. How has Shengzhou Yuxin Paper Co., Ltd. expanded production while controlling its emissions? A reporter interviewed General Manager Wang of Shengzhou Yuxin Paper Co., Ltd.

General Manager Wang told the reporter: Based on the plant's actual conditions, and taking into account long-term environmental protection, resource conservation and safety on many fronts, the primary sedimentation tank requires maintenance and cleaning during long-term operation, and after being covered there would be significant safety hazards in the subsequent cleaning of the tank bottom. After investigation and demonstration from many aspects, in

to add a white water tower and decommission the previous open primary sedimentation tank, so as to solve the fundamental odor problem of the primary sedimentation tank. In accordance with the environmental protection schedule requirements of higher authorities, the company strengthened project supervision, vigorously pushed the project forward, and completed the primary sedimentation tank renovation task on time and with guaranteed quality. At present the primary sedimentation tank has been fully emptied, and the white water tower has been put into normal operation. The white water tower is covered and sealed, and combined with two deep air flotation towers, all wastewater from the production workshop enters the white water tower for deep sedimentation treatment and then undergoes air flotation treatment in the flotation towers, after which it can basically be used directly for workshop production. The water level of the white water tower is designed to stay balanced with that of the pulp tower, and the white water in the tower can be fully recirculated through water level adjustment. The water turnover in the entire production system is twice that of before, avoiding the situation in the original shallow primary sedimentation tank where white water stayed in the tank for a long time during sedimentation treatment, causing papermaking fibers to rot and produce odors. The waste gas generated by the white water tower is collected and then enters the biochemical tank for oxidation treatment, and the odor problem of the primary sedimentation tank has been fully solved.
