This custom snack-food pouch is built as a stand-up zipper bag: the base is gusseted so the pack stands on the shelf, the top has a press-to-close zipper, and the side seals follow the three-side-seal format used for vacuum pouches. It is supplied mainly to snack manufacturers for crisps, rice crackers, dried meat and bean products that need shelf presence.
The body uses a PE laminated material. Laminating combines stiffness, barrier and seal strength in one structure, and the gusseted stand-up base keeps the bag upright once filled. The zipper can be opened and closed many times, so reclosing the pack after use helps slow the contents down from absorbing moisture and going soft. The film combination can be adjusted if the pack is to be vacuumed or gas-flushed, and the seal width is set together with the fill weight.
Volume is made to order. Bag width, bag height and gusset depth are set from the fill weight and the display area you want. Printing runs to 1-8 colours with an MOQ of 10,000 pcs.
The pouch suits food snacks, nuts and dried fruit, candy outer packaging, grains, and portioned flour or sugar. It can be produced either as an upright display bag or as a flat three-side-seal flexible pack.
