Custom Stand-up Pouch 1–500 ml with Spout, Wide-Mouth for Jelly

The wide-mouth stand-up spout pouch is aimed at snack foods that need to be sucked smoothly, such as squeezable jelly and drinks. Opening up the spout diameter is what allows fruit pieces and nata de coco in a jelly to come through, and that is the plainest division of labour between this pouch and a small-bore version. The format follows a custom outline that the customer can define, with capacity chosen from 1-500 ml along the product line.

The body is laminated material, and as the spout grows larger the stress on the shoulder of the pouch becomes more concentrated, so seal width and sealing curvature have to be designed separately at bag making to keep the spout root from becoming a weak point. The inner layer touches food, so its material is set by the acidity and sweetness of the contents, while the outer layer is left free for colour printing.

Printing runs to 1-8 colours, and artwork can be designed around the clarity and colour of the jelly; plates are made once artwork is supplied. Spout type, pouch size and fittings such as hang holes are configured as required, with an MOQ of 10,000 pcs.

Applications are listed as liquid food packaging, jelly and beverages, and juice, milk, soy milk and soup fall within range as well.
