Custom Stand-up Pouch 350 kg with Spout for Cream and Jam

A stand-up spout pouch for liquid foods such as cream, jam and tomato ketchup, one of the formed pouch formats used for food liquids. The stand-up base lets a filled pouch stand on a shelf or worktop, and the top spout with its cap lets the sauce be squeezed out in controlled amounts, which removes the need to spoon repeatedly from a large jar in both food service and home use.

The body is a laminate of print, barrier and sealing layers, with the inner layer in direct contact with the sauce. Acidic contents such as tomato ketchup place demands on material compatibility, so the combination is chosen accordingly; the barrier layer slows the oxidation that affects the colour and flavour of sauces. The weld between the shoulder and the spout is the critical seal in forming.

Volumes range from 1–1000 ml, printing from 1–8 colours and the minimum order is 10,000 pcs. Customisation covers pouch size, spout and cap, material combination and overall artwork. Because sauces are viscous, the spout type and the proportions of the pouch are usually adapted to suit them.

The pouch suits liquid, beverage, jam and juice packaging and also covers cream, tomato ketchup, salad dressing and other sauces. Food service tends to use medium and large sizes, while retail and takeaway use small single-serve packs.
